Presidential candidate of the APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu arrives to have an interactive session with the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria at the CAN Secretariat in Abuja.

President of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Daniel Okoh says the meeting is for the APC Presidential Candidate to meet minds with the leadership of the Christian community in the country to review and proffer solutions to the various challenges confronting the country.

The CAN identifies some constitutional incoherence which the association believes should be looked into by the APC Presidential Candidate if he becomes the President of Nigeria.

Bola Tinubu says Nigeria needs the best collaboration and solution to address the problems of the country.

He admits that he was able to find that in Senator Kashim Shettima, which led to his selection of the former Governor of Borno State as a running mate in the forthcoming presidential election.

The Former Lagos State Governor who was a founding member of the All Progressives Congress and emerged the Presidential candidate of the party in its Special National Convention and Presidential Primary held at the Eagle square in June.

He defeated former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, President of the Senate Ahmad Lawan and Others in the primary.

He has since his emergence picked the former Governor of Borno State, Senator Kashim Shettima, as his Presidential running mate.

His Choice of the former Borno Governor who is also a Muslim like him had seemingly been a point of convergence for the critics of the Former Lagos State Governor.

Many had picked holes in his choice describing it as attempt to Islamise Nigeria.

He had always defended himself asking whether he that has not Islamised his wife who is a Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God will now be able to do so in the whole of Nigeria.

His meeting with the Leadership of CAN is to ensure their is a point of convergence on what Nigeria needs right now to continue to prosper.
